Field report from Depoe Bay, Oregon on April 3, 2026 — Water was calm and inviting. Water was cold probably hovering at 50 degrees or slightly cooler.

Conditions:

Water was calm and inviting. Water was cold probably hovering at 50 degrees or slightly cooler.

What Worked:

Shrimp flies and artificials on the dropper loop worked well for lingcod and rockfish on the bottom. Don't be afraid to get a little jiggy with it
